Installing Office on multiple computers

A friend's son bought MS Office 2010 on disks which licensed him to install it on two machines (Software4Students). He installed it on his PC and his laptop.
The PC has since developed a fault (not connected with the installation) and has gone to a repairer for an indefinite period.
Can he use the disks to install Office onto another PC? If so, what happens when he gets the original machine back?

"Can he use the disks to install Office onto another PC?"
I would say yes but if the Activate by using the Internet doesn't work then Activate by using the telephone You can telephone an Activation Center and activate your product with the help of a customer service representative and then you can also ask them "what happens when he gets the original machine back?"
or you could see what happens.... it may just carry on working, if not then ring the Activation Centre.
