Gaming Pc - Build Compatible?

Hi,
I am building my first PC and I need some help to check if all that parts work together and the build is good to run games like Battlefield 3 and Skyrim on Ultra settings.
CPU: INTEL Core i5 Ivy Bridge 3570k - 3.4 GHz - 6 MB
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H - 1155 Socket - Z77 Chipset – ATX GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 OEM - 2 GB
HDD: SEAGATE Barracuda 3.5" internal hard drive - 1 TB
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS90 24x DVD Rewriter
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz
Case: CiT Vantage Case Black
PSU: Corsair 500W Builder Series CX 80+ Bronze ATX Power Supply

I`m not fully upto speed on AMD graphics cards ( use NVIDIA myself ) , but build looks ok . Only thing I would change is possibly think about a more powerful PSU , as one of the reasons I went for NVIDIA is they are not quite as power hungry as AMD .
