Each time I switch my computer on a box comes up that says Open File - Security Warning Publisher Intel Corporation Application C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel(R)Management Engine

What is this and how can I get rid of it?

Thanks

You may well have picked up a virus. Can I suggest, as a precaution, that you run Malwarebytes free - here is the link.

Have you changed any registry entries recently or removed any spyware etc?

This link may throw some light on the problem and how to troubleshoot to try to get to the bottom of it.
