I have recently obtained a second hand dell inspiron 900. with 8 gb. I want to upgrade to a 16 or 32 gb drive. My problem is, I can copy all the system to a usb drive but then it asks for a floppy to be inserted as a boot.I thought floppy's went out with the Ark. Any suggestions to get round this prob would be appreciated. I assume I would have to transfer all my info to a bigger disc if installed?

You've got an 8GB HDD. Are you sure? What operating system are you running?
