Hi Chronus! Thanks for getting back to me and greetings from across the pond. Sorry about the lack of information, I have now found my piece of paper with the following info if it's of use to you.

" OXOBAD0020' Disable bios memory such as caching and shadowing. Computer is an Asus laptop. Windows 7 Security programme is Kaspersky.

I think you must have noted down the wrong error code but Google has this.
