I want to add a SDD to my set up

I have a fairly new PC which is fine except the hard drive is both very slow and noisy! Turns out the drive is fine it's just a 'green eco' one which is apparently normal.
Anyway I want to add a SSD drive probably 256gb SATA 3.
I want it to be my main drive for installing win7, office a few games etc and the 2TB drive I have now as the secondary drive mainly to hold pictures, music etc.
My question is how do I do this and what other than the new drive do I need?
I realise I need a caddy but is there a package I can buy that will have everything i'll need or will I have to get everything separately?
Any advice please?
