Validation Code for Easy Transfer?

Can somebody please tell me where I find the validation code to enable me to download Windows Easy Transfer onto my old XP computer so I can transfer all my stuff to my new laptop?

I'm not certain exactly what you are doing, but you can simply download the Easy Transfer software for XP onto you XP PC from here.

For a guide on transferring from XP to W7 and this link.

Thank you - I'll try way, it looks very straightforward. I was trying to download Easy Transfer onto my old PC from the Microsoft site and that's where it was asking for the validation code.
