Smart Protection 2012

Dell Latitude D630 Windows XP pro Microsoft Security Essentials Protection

Sorry if I am repeating myself but previous posting not showing up. Have had virus 'Smart Protection 2012' checked on web and all solutions seem quite complicated. I carried out system restore in safe mode and ran a full scan and computer seems OK, will I have this comming back to haunt me as it seems all to easy to fix?

If you don't already have it, download and run the free version of Malwarebytes to see if it finds anything malicious remaining.
