which replacment drive

hi,i bought a new game(batman-arkham city),but my pc doesn`t recognise disc1,but disc2 works fine,they both work fine on my nephews laptop! so do i need to buy a new drive,if so how do i know which is right?

If it is reading one disc okay (disc 2) but having difficulty with disc 1 then try cleaning it and/or cleaning your drive with a cleaning disc.

I'd also open my computer by clicking start my computer to see if it is seeing the DVD and simply double clicking it as you might be just waiting for the "Auto Play" to appear - sorry if this sounds obvious, I'm not sure what your computer ability is like.
