installing more memory in a vaio vgn fe31 laptop

I want to increase the memory from 1 to about 4GB on my laptop. Do I need to get a particular type, or can I just ask for 2 2Gig chips?

Hi

You first have to check how much memory your PC will take - have used this company in the past, very helpful. You need to be on the PC that needs the memory when you access the site and download the scanner - it will then scan your machine and tell you exactly what your PC needs.
