can't get wireless

I just purchased a exdisplay ASUS when i got home i found i can't connect ti my wireless network. Plus i can't change the name on the networking, it says comet-pc how do i change it ....will someone please help me.

The reason it has Comet-Pc is because that was the set user name.

As it was exdisplay, and anything could have been altered by customers it could do with restoring back to factory default, the way it would have been if you just got it out of the box.

Do you have recovery disks or the option to restore to factory settings from boot. Have a look at the instruction book.
