help in sublimation printing

Hi all,

I want to start printing on mugs and t-shits, I knew that its better to print using sublimation inks, but I'm a little bit confused, can i use sublimation inks in ink-jet printers or there is a specific printer for sublimation inks like Epson printer?

If you read this you can see that only ink jet printers with a specific type of print head (such as those found in some Epson and Ricoh printers can be used with dye sublimation inks.

You will need a special printer like a Zerox Phaser and you will have to print in reverse on a special paper so that you can transfer the print to another surface. There are not many dye sublimation printers about and they are not cheap or cheap to run. You can do tee-shirts with special transfer paper and ink-jet printers but not very well.
