best camera

Could you advise me please which do you think is the best Cannon SX210 or Samsung BW650. I was told Cannon have the best lenses but I have also been told the Samsung has a good lens. I am looking for a good lens and long distance view also a view finder if poss. I wouldn't mind a metal case as well.

Personally i do not use compacts so i cannot give an opinion,but a peruse through these tests should give you a better idea as to their performance.

For every day pictures I don't think you will find any noticeable difference in the picture quality between these cameras, it will be more down to how they feel and ease of use. The Samsung may be slightly heavier.

The best way would be to go into a shop and try the cameras yourself.
