Upgrading graphics card

Hi
Would like some advise on upgrading my graphics card.
my system spec is
Windows 7 Home
3.00 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo
3328 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5K SE/EPU Rev 1.xx
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512

I would like to upgrade to a 1 gig memory card,something that will play the latest games on a high/max settings.
any help appreciated.

Whats your budget? Also you might need to upgrade your power supply so can you post that also.

You won't be able to play the latest games at highest settings with that processor and like already said I bet you will need a new psu
With that setup id aim for medium to low settings on the latest games
