Not receiving emails on Life Mail

Windows 7 /Live Mail/ McFee

Currently setting up a new laptop. Got IE connected.

Live Mail have infilled all data and can send emails ok.

Problem: Not able to receive incoming mail

Use a freeserve world email. Have put organgehome data in as have done on other two computers.

Any thoughts appreciated please

Thanks 124 very useful information which has been "stored".

The problem has been resolved. I was "allowed to look at the new set up". Hmmmh could not believe that the owner of the laptop concerned had done such an elementary error. Spelling his email address incorrectly so many times (nearly 2 hours) after using it for 10years!

Imputting the correct spelling, and he is off.
