Transfer music CD to laptop

I have got a new laptop that is running Windows 7 and I want to transfer my music CD’s onto my laptop into the my music folder.
I put the CD in the drive and the only menu that appears is play audio CD.
Should it not give a menu with more options such as transfer files or rip to computer etc?
I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to transfer my CD’s to my laptop please.
