Hi ,my existing motherboard is a biostar P4M900M4,DDR2 memory and a intel pen 4 processor, i wish to upgrade all and would welcome suggestions for new components.Im good mechanically just not too conversant with pcs. many thanks in advance

To start with we need to know your budget? What is the main use for the PC? Will you be building the PC yourself? What about operating system?Whether you will need a monitor etc?

Your current motherboard and I am assuming CPU is quite old so an upgrade if possible would,in my opinion be money wasted.

thanks,the pc is for average home use with windows xp,average budget and i would change components myself.

Sorry there is no such thing as an average budget,I really need a figure to work with.
