I'am looking for some advice on which would be the best Laptop for running AutoCad and various other surveying programmes at the same time. I'am currently using an old HP and when it is connected to the internet with a couple of drawing/surveying programmes open it tends to be very slow and unresponsive. Any advice would be welcome.

You need to look at the recommended, not the minimum, specifications required to run the programs that you will be using. An indication of budget and screen size would be useful.

The current screen size we use is 15" and i would estimate a budget at £500.
