Looking for a new laptop, but don't know which to get?

My current laptop is a Dell Inspiron which is just over 5 years old. It has just become incredibly slow and unresponsive with webpages taking a while to load up. The he battery is broken so it has to be plugged in or it won't work. The windows updater is broken and Skype isn't working as it can't find the network despite the laptop being connected.

The new laptop will be required to run applications such as Photoshop and for light gaming.

I've been looking for laptops on a budget of £500 and I've found these. Which one is better?

Feel free to recommend other laptops.

My personal choice is the Dell and the main reason is that it has a much bigger hard drive.
