PC about to die, been out looking for a replacement today and am confused. Could purchase a replacement tower with a reasonable spec (4gb, 500mb & 1.3 processor for about £380 ). However have seen the new touchscreen all in one's, same spec for about £850, a lot more money but seems a lot more wow. Trying to decide if they are worth the extra? Has anyone used one if so would really like to hear your opinion.
Would like to know any recommendations re tower unit (have decent monitor, keyboard and mouse already)or touchscreen all in one pc's.

Really rather depends if you are going to have Windows 7 or 8 . W8 is obviously designed with a touch interface in mind , but personally I would go for the tower PC . You can always upgrade to a touchscreen monitor at a later date and still have money left ! . Also tower will be easier to keep clean , and upgrade in the future .

You could by a much better spec. tower and this touch screen monitor for less than your £850 all in one.
