Talex GPS (Lite). Cannot update Data with life time subscription

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with the Talex Lite GPS. It seems that a number of people are involved with the product being Talex, Talex Products, Novus Systems and Novus Auto. Where do they all fit in or has someone walked away from the Free Life time Update promise. Also is there really any truth that these types of update are prone to carrying Trojans? Hi Guys

I'm the Customer Service and Database Manager for Talex, sorry its taken a day to get to you - only just spotted this!

To answer a couple of the queries:

  1. Talex is entirely its own business, nothing to do with Novus, or any other similar products on the market. You can find out all about us at www.talex.co.uk

  2. There have never been any reports of anything untoward in our updates, they are done in very strict conditions, using a bespoke piece of software purely to create the updates. We have many thousands of subscribers - if there was anything untoward I'm sure I'd have found out very quickly. The updates are obviously very important to our business, and something I personally take care of.

  3. Rather than discuss individual subscription issues on here please feel free to email me directly at ak@talex.co.uk where I'll be happy to look into any issues you maybe having.
