Have just read that it is possible Comet may go into administration which may then lead to sale, job losses or even liquidation. In view of this, perhaps its best not make a purchase of any item that you think you may want to have the security of an after sales warranty ?

Ending the speculation, Comet has confirmed that it will go into administration next week. the administrator will run the business as a going concern whilst options for sale, closure, and liquidation are assessed.
