lalptop batteries!

I have had a Advent laptop for about three years, twelve months ago thereabouts the battery only lasts about five minutes then i have to put it on recharge, what is wrong, does this mean it needs a new battery?

Yes - they don't last that long. Plenty available if you Google the model number.

If you order a compatible battery, rather than an Advent one online, be sure they are located in the UK. A number of companies appear to be UK based, but the batteries are shipped from abroad, usually China. They often take a long time to arrive and there can be problems if you need to return them if problems arise.
