lalptop batteries!

I have had a Advent laptop for about three years, twelve months ago thereabouts the battery only lasts about five minutes then i have to put it on recharge, what is wrong, does this mean it needs a new battery?

i suggest you close this extra thread down by ticking, the resolved button or tick. This is a duplicate and forum rules state that there should be only one thread not two. The Boss the editor will sooner or later pick up on it.
