I have installed a D-LINK Share Centre with 2x 2tb hard drives it cam with Far stone backup pro software. I can't register the program & their website seems to be knackered? or unresponsive. I'm not that impressed with the software & wonder if anyone can recommend decent backup software for 2 desktops & 2 Laptops on a home (home Hub 3) network.

Have a look at a program called 'all way sync' as well. I've used it quite recently, and was quite impressed.

Very nice backup software is Praetorian Guard. I used it at work and from home. It essentially copies whatever directories and files you specify to the backup drive also allows you to do all of the scheduling of your backups from one location.
