Watch out for any 'hidden' charges, as well as those imposed by HMRC. The courier company (Royal Mail/DHL?) might add on an administration charge for dealing with the due processes.
I have dealt with some USA companies that deliver via Germany or other EU country, which makes the whole process easier. You could perhaps ask if this arrangement is in place with the seller?.
Looking at the £1.26 delivery charge, I would suspect that this is via Amazon MarketPlace, and one of their USA sellers. I have had a number of successful deals that way, but I always check to see if a UK seller as a similar priced item. You could also check Play.com or eBay for prices!.
