Best CPU for up to £70

Thinking of getting an AMD athlon 2 X3 3.3ghz. Its 3 core and apparently easy to unlock to 4 cores and costs £63. Is there a better Intel equivalent at this price range? I'm looking to build a pc for general use but intend to keep it for a while so want to get as much performance as possible for the money.

Thanks Carver, the cpu is recommended in the budget gaming category so I think I will go for it.
