anyone having problems with AOL direct debit payments

At the beginning of the year AOL sent me a letter saying my last two direct debits had not been taken, i checked with my bank and they said AOL had not collected the payments. I telephoned AOL and had to pay the two months by credit card and they couldn't see a problem with the direct debit but said they would sort it out for me, since then my direct debits have been going out as usual for the last couple of months and today i received a letter and the same thing has happened again, they have not taken the direct debits again. I will phone again tomorrow to sort this out.

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing any direct debit payment problems with AOL.

With AOL no, but with Talk Talk yes.

They even disconnected me for not paying the monthly bill, then admitted that there was an administration problem. Ofcom were fully aware as to this problem, as they had received many complaints, to the point that they were going to fine the company.

With Talk Talk, payment by credit card now as a surcharge attached.
