Sending a Package to USA Time Frame?

Hi All

Need some opinions on this and wondered if any of you have been in this situation.

I've sent a package to a Friend in Los Angeles in USA on the 3rd May I sent this via Royal Mail it was sent as "Airmail Sm Pk" and i'm wondering how long it would take for my package to reach the USA it's been 3 Weeks now and i'm getting concerned.

The normal transit time for Royal Mail airmail to the states is between 4 and 7 days, although sometimes it can take quite a while longer.

What can happen is that a package is held by US customs officials for inspection, and that can extend the delivery period to three or even four weeks at times. Did you mark the package as to content?

Well the news update hes recieved the package, I'm typing this in IE as Firefox doesn't like this site!
