I bought a scanner from a company name uk-computers
http://uk-computers.co.uk/pgProduct.cfm?Product=158921561246581-V353913-DS4208-SR00007WR-MotorolaDS4208HandheldBarCodeReaderTwilightBlackWiredImagerLED
This scanner says it is wired but when I got parcel, wire is not included. I called the customer services same day but instead of resolving this matter she advice me to write an email from the order page. Once I done that after two days they said wire does not come with it. and they pointed me to the other page to buy wire for another £18. Not Recommended at all.
Now they are not returning the item as it is more than 7 days. Can I report it to Trading Stadard as in the description, they haven't mentioned anything that wire is not included. They are mis selling the item with incomplete information.
Please advice and share your experience about this company. Am I the only unlucky one?

I think the thread title is extremely misleading and unwarranted. I have looked around on a few other websites. I haven't noticed any stating no cable supplied, and Amazon has a few comments warning there's no cable. Most sites are more expensive as well.
Their website could have stated that a cable was not included, but you could also have checked that a cable was included. As the Motorola isn't supplied with one, the company supplied exactly what was ordered. There is no reason for such outrage.
You could either take up the offer of one supplied post-free (which means you will not be out of pocket on postage, and in exactly the position you would have been in, had you ordered one at the same time as the scanner), or you can choose to buy one elsewhere. I would not expect one for free, if I had made the mistake you made. I don't actually think it would make good business sense for them to give one for free either; there's a time for extreme generosity, and a time to try to settle the matter. This is a time for the latter.

I've edited your thread title, and one comment from your text.
We don't permit threads or posts that advise others to avoid a supplier, based on a single bad experience. Other people will make their own decisions about who they buy from.

I don't think 'No cables supplied' would be great a difficulty to add in the information. As there was an issue as to the rights & wrongs over this I wonder if the blurb on the sites products has been updated to avoid any future confusion?
