I need to setup 6 laptops wach have 1GB RAM and two standard PCMCIA express slots using the TCP/IP protocol.
The server which has been purchased is a 10/100 mbps and has a 10/100 mbps pci nic.
The Room this will be setup in is 50 metres long by 30 metres wide and 4 metres high.
There will be stock and some things in plastic wrappings on the shelves. What else will I need to get this up and running ? A wirless router or a wireless access point.
Whats the best way to go about doing this please any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi
Wireless routers are usually used for home networks. A wireless access point will be much better for your purposes. Can I suggest you have a look at this
to give you a better idea of how to set up your network.
Hope it helps.

You will need a main workstation such as a pc/computer setup with the broadband router and have everything else run off that wirelessly.
