Hi- I want to install a network drive attached to my router so my family can access all the photo and files etc from their wireless devices, I also want to use this drive to keep all my films so I can can watch them on my Sony TV, the TV is connected to the router via an ethernet cable but is not wireless, my PC is hard-wired to the router. Could someone let me know what i need to get to make all this work, in particular how I can get my TV to see and play the files on the network drive. Many thanks

Some TVs don't have that facility. The ethernet is just to connect to the internet to download new firmware. Check in your TV instruction book what facilities your TV actually supports.
