TP link powerline adapters question

Hi all, Could anyone help me with this question:

If I need to connect 2 PCs and an Apple TV to my home network, do I have to buy one pair of starter kit and two separate adapters or can I buy two starter kits to do the job?

The make would help, but generally the 'starter kit' is just two, standard adaptors. So, if the kit is cheaper than two individual units, go for it!
