Because of signal level problems, I am using a laptop and livebox at either end of my house. I only connect the one I am useing to the phone line. Can I have both liveboxes connected at the same time, so that both computers can be used?

If you have just one phone line and one ADSL contract then you can't connect two at the same time.

You could transfer the broadband signal to the other end of the house from the one router using Homeplugs. Some examples here You can also get the second one to be wireless if preferred.
