networking more than 4 units

Hi all, at present I have 5 units that I would like to hard wire can anyone tell me if their is an asdl router with more than 4 ports

Conventionally, routers have a 4-port switch. Usually if additional ports are required, a Network Switch is attached to one of the router's ports and the router's DHCP server will continue to allocate addresses to any devices connected to the switch.

thought as much just wanted to make sure in my own mind I was correct so thanks for the advice
