Netgear WiFi Range Extender WN3000RP - PC to extender connection problem?

Hi,

I am having trouble connecting my PC to my extender.

I have used this extender before and had no problem setting it up or using it by following the directions but this time something is not right.

The user manual says to connect to NETGEAREXT via my wireless connection interface but I can't seem to find the NETGEAREXT anywhere to connect to. It is not showing up. I even tried creating a new connection named NETGEAR_EXT to see if that is what I was supposed to do but that didn't work.

It is driving me batty.

ANy help would be very very appreciated.
