To enable the taskbar preview I have been told to open taskbar properties and I would find what to click to enable taskbar preview when I hover the mouse over icon. I thought I would ask for help on this issue. I have tried and cannot find the answer. During chat session w/ McAfee, CSR could not do it either.

Are you using Windows 7 Aero? If so, have you tried this Aero troubleshooter?

difarn, kinda knew this had something to do with aero. when I opened properties the box to click on for "use Aero peek to preview desktop" was not highlighted. I had tried searching the word aero before with no results. This time I was able to follow thru. My "Desktop window manager" was disabled, go figure! Thanks for your help!
