New Wirless Router help please

Hey, Im looking to get a new router and just wanted to know if this router would be ok to replace this router hope some of you guys can help me thanks!

No, that isn't suitable.

You're existing Netgear DG834G is a combined router & ADSL Modem. The Buffalo is a "Cable/DSL Router" for use with Cable broadband, such as Virgin Media's Cable service where they supply the Cable Modem.

Have a look at some of the combined Modem/Routers on this page.
