Controlling laptop access to internet through wireless router connection

Problem: unruly nephew obsessed with internet access on laptop which connects via wireless router. I've been told time limits can be set on the network connection. I already know how to set the Parental Controls in Windows but unsure about setting access controls on the wireless network connection. Another laptop in the house contains software in relation to the original set up of the system, is it from this that I set up the internet access controls for the second laptop?

It rather depends upon whether that software contains anything that can be used to restrict internet access on the network (if you have a home network set up) rather than just restricting certain sites. If it does and your router supports this then that should work across all pc's on the network.
There is software available - the attached is an example.

enter 192.168.1.1 into your internet browser search bar. (some routers are different goggle for your routers ip address if it doesn't work)go into the settings and see if you can time limit the internet access. depending on the router you might be able to limit individual computers mac addresses.
