New Router - Same Laptop not connecting

Hi we had fibre optic installed today, my laptop connected automatically and connects fine via wireless. My girlfriends laptop does connect but only locally but connects fine via ethernet.
This laptop was connected wirelessly to our previous router with no problems.
I'm assuming this is a settings issue on this laptop has anyone got any ideas what to do.

One or two things to try:-
Make sure the wireless adapter driver is up to date. Delete the wireless connection, connect by ethernet and then try to connect wirelessly again.

Is girlfriend's Laptop running Vista?
If so, have a look at this page - "Fixing the local only internet access issue in Windows Vista" - for a possible fix.
