poor wifi connection

can anyone tell how to boost my wifi signal. i got sky broadband and i use a laptop. there is no problem with wifi connection within a range of 6 to 7 meters, but that's it. when trying to use my laptop in my garden (appr. 25m from router) i am done. and even my printer who is in the next room with only a plasterboard wall between them i am unable to get signal. any help is greatly appreciated.

There are lots of things you can try in order to improve the range of your WiFi signal.
