I was using a Linksys wireless-G router but its now broke, I am considering buying a new wireless N router, either a D-Link, TP-Link or a Buffalo.
I have 2 laptops using XP and W7, the WiFi adapters are Intel(R) Pro wirelsss 2200bg adapter and Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g adapter.
What brand do you recommend? and will a wireless - N router be compatible with my current hardware?

Everyone tends to have their favourite brand; I happen to favour D-Link routers and dislike Belkin. I have used a Buffalo router reliably too.
An "N" (802.11n) router will be backward compatible with your existing adapters and will connect at 54Mbps as 802.11g.
