BT Infinity Query.

Hi guys,
So, we're currently with Virgin Media and they've told us that we aren't being serviced by Fibre Optic in our area so we had to make do with DSL. However, I just checked on the BT website and they seem to be able to service our area with BT Infinity, which if I'm not mistaken is fibre optic.
Is this correct, and if it is, do you recommend switching?

Yes, it's fibre optic. Switching depends on the extra you might get vs the cost. For me it was a no-brainer because I live so far from the exchange I used to get 150Kb on ADSL but with infinity I get 30Mb so a twenty fold increase. It's reliable and means much less waiting for things to download.

I'm with Virgin's fibre optic so if you can't get it then yes go for it as I would not want to go back to copper wire. If Virgin can't give you the better option then BT is the option I would go for.
