Vigin broadband - going wireless

Hi,

Could you advise if the following is suitable for use with virgin broadband? tp-link TD-W8950ND modem router. The plan is for it to be used with the virgin supplied modem and use this to provide wireless internet connection.

I know you need a cable router, but is that only if you use the device on ts own instead of piggybacking off the virgin supplied modem?

Does it have a USB input? if it does then it will be no good
