I hope there is a miracle worker out there.

aol are a complete waste of time and space in my opinion as for one you cannot understand what there tech support is saying and even when you email there tech support they seem to answer with a totally different answer to my questions.

I have just installed a pci card ethernet connection on my pc windows xp now all I want to now do is connect and configure my router on the internet, I currently use aol dial.bb broadband adsl connection so far there are no connections from the router connected to my pc as i am still using a bt voyager 105 modem.

When i did connect the ethernet cable to my pc and into the router also i connected the adsl cable into the back of the router but aol have not explained how to connect to the internet to configure this router and get it to work.

One final question if i may I do have a wireless router easy install disc that came with the router I have asked aol shall i use this but they dont give me the answer.

Would it be best just to use this cd and start from there.

Sorry to rant on but thanks in advance for any help.

I believe the usual way to connect to this service is to set the username as: yourphonenumber@dialbb.com

The password should be your AOL password.

Otherwise you should allow your router to use its automatic settings. Use the instructions that came with the router.

A lot of people had serious difficulties with the dialbb connection when it was first introduced, but I haven't heard too many complaints recently.

Try what I've suggested, and come back here if you need further help.
