Sony bra via tv connection worries.

I have a Sony bra via tv with Internet access through a Ethernet port. Due to it's distance from my wifi router I was wondering if I could use some sort of bridge between the router and tv? Ie something that picks up the routers signal and sends it through a Ethernet cable to the tv. I also have an old net gear router if I could use that.
My router is a home hub 2.1
