Recommendation for Cable Wi-Fi router

I currently have a Belkin N1 Vision Router, but like so many others I am now having to re-boot daily to get a connection. My Broadband is from Virgin (10Mb), which I have checked and confirmed the speed.
The household currently own 4 laptops, 2 iPhones, 1 iPod Touch and a Nintendo Wii, which all link into the network at various times of the day. I am looking to replace the Belkin with the best router for the job of coping with all of the above and possibly a multi function printer in the near future. Our usage varies from browsing to downloading music and streaming from BBC and other TV channels, and also gaming (although this isn't the biggest use).
I have seen the new range of Belkin's, but haven't used any other make before. Can anyone recommend a router to me?
Many thanks in anticipation.

I don't have an N router mine is only a b&g one but it is over 5yrs old and I can only think of once having to reboot it the make is Linksys wrt54g but I'm sure their n routers will be just as good, I am also on 10meg virgin and have been with them going right back to NYNEX days when the cable was first installed in our road.

D-Link DIR series router seem to be pretty good , although a little pricey the get good reviews , particularly the Xxtreme 655
