I wonder if they ever used 'frozen-over' aquaducts [when it got really cold], for hi-speed toboggan runs?

Aitchbee - Think about it - aquaducts don't have much of a slope.

If you freeze an aquaduct the ice would be perfectly level and not suitable for a cresta run. Perhaps used as a curling rink might be more appropriate although I would not like to underneath if one of the stones went over the edge.
