Time Flies

Just 60 years since I joined the RAF, and 20 since I left it!

Doesn't time fly?

At this rate I'll soon have been out of a uniform longer that I was in it!

Time flies but you're the pilot - were you a pilot?

How very true about how "Times Flies". Only the other day I was thinking about past deeds and doings, and wondered were I went wrong?.

I wake up every day, wondering if I had died the day before, and missed something, or is that senile thoughts?.

Jock1e "Birthday card from you know who"

I hardly think Morddwyd was approaching 40 years of age when he joined the RAF???

the second, was defined originally as the fraction 1/86 400 of the mean solar day.

it is now defined as - the duration of 9192631770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium 133 atom.

Just like changing the coinage fro LSD to decimal perhaps we've been short changed again and time isn't what it used to be.
