I have temporary email problems

I'm away from home at the moment, and although I can receive emails I can't send any. Too involved to go into the reasons here, but if you've emailed me since last Friday, and haven't received a response, that's the reason.

I'm working on it, but if all else fails I'll be back in civilisation on Saturday.

Apologies to all who have contacted me.

Very droll.

I never realise just how much I have come to take constant email access for granted until suddenly it doesn't work. Being able to receive but not send is actually worse than not having email at all.

I'll catch up as soon as I'm back.

I recall the days of Telex and Prestel, and having problems with those.

Even asked if I should start banging on oil drums to send out messages. The service provider didn't appreciate that :O(

At least with e-mail you don't have miles of paper tape on the floor AKA Creed 7.
